About
Missions is the heart of God. Jesus' last words before leaving Earth were: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..." (Matt. 28:19). This collective command is given to all believers and gives the church its purpose. In order to accomplish what God has given us to do, some are called to stay and others are called to go.
The missions ministry exists for three reasons:
To provide opportunities for believers to explore God's call in their lives through missions exposure.
To identify those who are called by God to leave home and take the Gospel to a new place.
To strengthen the hands and feet of those who are now serving as missionaries.
If you would like to get involved in the missions ministry, email us at spencer@calvaryhomestead.org.

Brian McDaniel & Family | Haiti
Pastor Brian is the President of a gospel message ministry called Cross to Light. Cross to Light has been organized for the purpose of helping people cross from darkness to light by receiving the gospel.
Cross to Light’s core function in Haiti is to bring in young leaders from different provinces of Haiti in order to build them up in the Word of God, taking them through the bible over the course of two years and send them back out to plant churches in order to provide bible teaching discipleship and community relief throughout the entire country. Each church plant is a community center where assistance to the poor, homeless, widows and orphans of Haiti are given relief aid.
At the church facilities, in addition to the bible teaching and discipleship, Cross to Light digs deep water wells, provides medical supplies and assistance, and distributes relief aid - all free of cost to the Haitian people.
Devin and Shannon Long | Decision Point, U.S.A.
Devin and Shannon both work for Decision Point, a ministry that seeks to share the gospel to the next generation 'until every student has heard.' The ministry equips high school and middle school students to use their legal rights to share the gospel with their peers through student-led Christian clubs and personal evangelism.
Devin serves as the Online Training Director and Ministry Admin, developing systems and strategies to support students and staff nationwide. He’s currently focused on making our coaching accessible in areas without on-the-ground staff by hosting Zoom coaching calls with students eager to reach their campuses.
Shannon serves as the Creative Director, leading Decision Point's marketing efforts and shaping the visuals and messaging that inspire students, supporters, and churches to join the mission.
Devin, Shannon, and their son Shepherd love their church family at Calvary Homestead as they seek to love and worship Jesus more every day together.

Calvary Chapel Bible College | South Asia
*For safety reasons “Pastor” is anonymous*
When Pastor was six years old, his parents put him in a boarding school. At that time, he asked his Mom, “Who is going to tell me Bible stories?” His parents gave him a Bible and said, “All the stories are in here.” But he asked, “Did God speak to Abraham, Moses, Jonah and the other people mentioned in the Bible?”
When he heard a “Yes” from his mother, he said, “Only when God speaks, will I read the Bible.” But after a few years he realized that God was speaking to him. Pastor had studied to be an Aeronautical Engineer, but on the 3rd of March, 2010 at 3AM the Lord spoke to him to serve Him. From that very day, Pastor has been in full-time ministry.
Pastor completed his bachelor’s in Theology at the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Hungary and since the day God spoke to him, Pastor has traveled to various places across the globe with the good news of Christ Jesus. The Lord has been providing for him in everything that he needs and has shown him how faithful He is always.
Monte De Dios | Tijuana, Mexico
Monte De Dios is a Christian children’s home located in eastern Tijuana whose goal is to care for children who come from abuse and broken homes. Monte De Dios and Calvary Homestead became connected the summer of 2017 at Rancho Genesis and God’s hand has been evident in bringing these two groups together since then.
The staff of Monte De Dios have committed their lives to training up these beautiful children in the ways of the Lord, and it is our joy to come alongside them as they raise disciples of Jesus Christ.
Lindsey Cuen | Egar, Hungary
Lindsey attended Calvary Chapel Bible College in Southern California after graduating high school. She finished her studies in Hungary with an emphasis on missions at which point she had fallen in love with Hungary.
In 2003, after Bible College, she attended Calvary Homestead and served in the youth ministry. With the intention of being trained for the mission field, she helped plant a church in Texas and was eventually sent out from that church as a missionary to the Philippines, all the while trying to make connections to return to Hungary as a missionary. She returned to Hungary in 2014 and has been serving with Calvary Chapel Eger ever since.
She helps lead worship and the women’s ministry and is the secretary of the church. Lindsey is getting married in April and plans to continue serving the Lord alongside her future husband, who is the worship leader in the church. Eventually, they hope to get Hungarian citizenship, if the Lord wills.
The Villegas Family | Calvary Chapel Acapulco, Mexico
The Villegas family has been serving in Mexico for the past 21 years. Hassan and Stacy are originally from Calvary Homestead. They currently lead Calvary Chapel Acapulco.
Acapulco is known to be one of the most dangerous cities in the world, but Jesus has been moving among the people. Their passion is to simply teach the word of God verse by verse and serve the community. They have a variety of ministries that include outreaches throughout the city, visiting hospitals, orphanages, elderly homes, and local parks. The core of every outreach is to preach the Gospel and manifest the love of God.
Rancho Genesis Camps are a safe place for children living in orphanages to come have their time of their life! The children are shown Christ’s deep, unconditional love for them by the actions of the staff and the “amigos” (church members).
The children participate in devotionals, fun VBS activities, enjoy great food, make warm memories, and hear gentle words of affirmations that help them heal by softening bad memories of abuse with great new loving memories. Rancho Genesis is designed to be a part of the community of Jesus believers that He has gathered around these children, in helping orphans through the emotional healing process from their abuse or abandonment.
Rancho Genesis’ prayer is that through this ministry seeds will be planted and that these children would come to know, worship, and follow Jesus…as He is the greatest Healer!
