Homestead Kids is the children's ministry at Calvary Homestead, providing age-appropriate classes and childcare for children of all ages. We believe it is important to raise up children in the ways of the Lord through biblical teaching, worship, fellowship, and godly example. Our goal is to provide sound biblical doctrine at a level children can understand and take to heart as they grow in life and develop their own walks with Christ.

Homestead Kids provides childcare during all Sunday and Wednesday services, as well as during major church events. This gives parents the opportunity to participate in the main service while their children learn and grow in an age-appropriate environment of their own. We believe both children and adults benefit when each has an opportunity to learn, worship, and grow at an appropriate pace.

Our desire is to partner with parents in helping children know God's Word, understand who Jesus is, and develop a faith that becomes their own as they grow.

 

  • Homestead Kids is the children's ministry at Calvary Homestead, providing age-appropriate Bible teaching, worship, fellowship, and childcare for children of all ages.

  • Homestead Kids provides age-appropriate classes and care for children of all ages, including infants through 5th grade. Homestead’s Discipled Youth Group provides discipleship for 6th - 12th grade students.

  • Children learn biblical truth through age-appropriate teaching, worship, fellowship, and the example of caring Christian leaders. The goal is to provide sound doctrine in a way children can understand and take to heart as they grow.

  • Children learn and understand biblical truth differently at different stages of life. Age-appropriate classes allow children to learn, worship, and grow at a pace that is appropriate for their stage of development while adults participate in the main service.

  • Homestead Kids gives parents an opportunity to participate in the main church service while their children are cared for and taught in an age-appropriate environment. The ministry seeks to partner with parents as they raise their children to know and follow Jesus.

  • The goal of Homestead Kids is to help children understand God's Word, know Jesus, grow in biblical truth, and develop their own walk with Christ as they grow.
